So you want to know a little bit about me?

Well...My name is Pamela Bentick, and I'm married to a handsome Trinidadian, named Uriah Bentick. He is a very talented Professional Soccer (Football) Player. We randomly met in college on a bus (how romantic right??). I honestly can't say where his job will take us, BUT I love adventure and I love to travel, which is why being a photographer is awesome because I can go anywhere! I also have a background in Graphic Design, which helps with the business/marketing side of photography.  

What's the blog for?

God has blessed me with a new outlook on life that has given me so much joy, peace, and laughter in my life. And it's not your average everyday kind of joy...It's unexplainable. Despite all my circumstances He continuously teaches me to see things through His eyes, which puts an overwhelming and complete sense of joy and peace in my heart. And no matter how hard I try to throw a pity party...these same emotions take over and I can't get rid of it. That's what I want to share with everyone. Everyone needs to not just experience, but to have this kind of life forever!

The name “BenPark Studios” sprouts from a combination of my maiden name (Parker) and My new last name (Bentick). My husband and my family play a huge role in my business, and I thank God for everyone being so willing to help in anyway they can.

Why Photography?

I love photography. I love meeting new people, but I particularly love bringing out and capturing the joy of life. And to me that is the most important part in photography. Everyone in this world, at some point in their lives, will or has experienced frustrating, annoying, miserable and/or tragic times (some more than others), but if we choose to focus on the positive/joy filled moments, I'm convinced that we would enjoy life a whole lot more.
